INTERMAT 2024 is coming

From April 24th to 27th, Paris will host a new edition of Intermat, the Salon of Sustainable Solutions and Technologies for Construction. After being forced to cancel its 2021 edition due to the pandemic, the fair returns with a strong focus on sustainability, digitalization, and innovation as the main themes of the event. As a novelty for 2024, the New Technologies and New Energies zone will offer an exploration of the challenges of environmental and digital transitions that enable the deployment of energy-efficient equipment and provide visitors with an immersion into the connected construction site with low carbon emissions of the future.

Intermat 2024 has evolved its segmentation with an offering reorganized around five areas of specialization, including the creation of the New Technologies & Energy zone to provide a privileged space for cutting-edge technologies that are an integral part of construction equipment.

The new offering for the 2024 edition is centered around four pillars, each of which will offer highlights and innovations in the four major challenges of construction, including that of Energy, at the forefront of concerns and expectations of all construction professionals.

The New Technologies & Energy zone will focus on the valorization of equipment integrating new, alternative, or renewable energy sources (biofuels, electricity, hydrogen, etc.), decarbonization solutions (electric retrofit, etc.), virtual and digital energy engineering (augmented reality, mobile applications, BIM, Internet of Things, 3D printing, drones, etc.), energy storage solutions, and even autonomous vehicles…

It will bring together an exhibition area, the Start-up Village with a dedicated space to showcase the jewels of tomorrow, a unique forum offering continuous talks, and a demonstration area dedicated to low-carbon-emission equipment, particularly electric ones.

Start-up zone

The Start-up Village, organized in collaboration with Impulse Partners, will be located at the heart of the New Technologies and Energy zone to showcase the latest technological solutions to the challenges of decarbonization and digitalization in the construction industry.

A program of conferences, launches, and speeches, offered in particular by Impulse Partners, will decipher the major trends in innovation and their impact on trades, safety, training, etc., based on concrete examples of fruitful collaboration between start-ups and traditional players in the sector (Observatory of innovation trends in the construction industry in collaboration with CCCA-BTP, Impulse Partners, and OPPBTP).

Other conferences will focus on the disruption of Artificial Intelligence in the construction sector, the Master 2 Entrepreneur project of ESTP students, and low-carbon infrastructure with Connexion 21.

Presentations

With a theme for each day, high-level speakers from the construction industry, public authorities, and French and international personalities will exchange views on the challenges of low-carbon construction, especially in the rental sector, which will be in the spotlight.

Employment and training

INTERMAT is honored to address the hiring challenges of the construction sector through a dedicated space with:

  • A Job Forum in collaboration with HelloWork and its Seekube platform, where job offers can be posted free of charge and appointments can be made online at the INTERMAT fair.
  • Practical workshops during the 4 days of the fair to help you present your CV, make the most of social networks and other job search tools.
  • The presence of Worldskills, with training for the French team.
  • And many other events related to training.

Debates between visitors and exhibitors

The 5 major construction federations – DLR, EVOLIS, UMGP-FFB, FNTP, and SEIMAT – will mobilize at INTERMAT 2024 to build a better tomorrow around a BFM Business television set.

INTERMAT 2024 can help you make the most of your visit by scheduling Business Meetings with exhibitors in advance. The aim of this free service is to respond to your time-saving needs and, above all, to allow you to meet new suppliers and find practical solutions to advance your projects.
